13:DAYS SERENGETI ADVENTURES INSTYLE-KENYA AND TANZANIA SAFARIS


1:DAYS Nairobi- Samburu National reserve.

You will be picked up from your Nairobi Hotel or at the Airport and depart to Samburu national Reserve with a stopover at the Equator line for History and a short break.Proceed with your safari and arrive at the gate where you will begin game watch enroute to the Camp.The Samburu National Reserve is located on the banks of Ewaso Ng'iro river in Kenya; on the other side of the river is the Buffalo Springs National Reserve in Northern Kenya. It is 165km2 in size and 350 kilometers from Nairobi and ranges in altitude from 800 to 1230m above sea level. (1) Geographically, it is located at Samburu District of the Rift Valley Province.

In the middle of the reserve, the Ewaso Ngiro flows through doum palm groves and thick riverine forests that provides water without which the game in the reserve could not survive in the arid country.

The Samburu National Reserve was one of the two areas in which conservationists George Adamson and Joy Adamson raised Elsa the Lioness made famous in the best selling book and award winning movie Born free.

The Samburu National Reserve is also the home of Kamunyak, a lioness famous for adopting Oryx calves.

Habitat

Samburu National Reserve can be entered via the Ngare Mare and Buffalo Springs gates. Once inside the reserve, there are two mountains visible; Koitongor and Ololokwe. Samburu National Reserve is very peaceful and attracts animals because of the Uaso Nyiro River (Meaning "Brown Water" and pronounced U-aa-so-Nyee-ro )that runs through it and the mixture of acacia, riverine forest, thorn trees and grassland vegetation. The Uaso Nyiro flows from the Kenyan Highlands and empties into the famous Lorian Swamp. The natural serenity that is evident here is due to its distance from industry and the inaccessibility of the reserve for many years.

Wldlife

This is wide variety of animal and bird life see at Samburu National Reserve. Several species are considered unique to the region, including its unique dry-country animal life: All three big cats, lion, cheetah and leopard, can be found here, as well as elephants, buffalo and hippos. (2)

Other mammals frequently seen in the park include gerenuk, warthogs, Grant's gazelle, Kirk's dik - dik, impala, waterbuck, Grevy's zebra, Beisa oryx and reticulated giraffe. Rhinos are no longer present in the park due to heavy poaching.

There are over 350 species of bird. These include Somali Ostrich, grey-headed kingfisher, sunbirds, bee-eaters, marabou stork, tawny eagle,bateleur, vulturvine, guineafowl, yellow throated spurfowl, lilac-breasted roller, palm nut vulture, red-billed hornbill, secretary bird, verreaux's eagle, superb starling, yellow-billed hornbill and vultures.

The Ewaso Ngiro river contains large numbers of Nile crocodile.Relax till 1600hrs and begin an evening game drive till 1830hrs when you will drive back to the Camp for dinner and overnight.Ashnil Samburu Camp


2:DAY SAMBURU NATIONAL RESERVE

Wake up early in the morning for a full breakfast and start the game drive up to lunch hour then back to the lodge /camp for lunch or another option (wake up early in the morning for a cup of tea or Coffee and make an early morning game drive for 2 1/2 hrs). Relax till 1600hrs and begin an evening game drive till 1830hrs when you will drive back to the Camp for dinner and overnight.Ashnil Samburu Camp


3:DAY SAMBURU NATIONAL RESERVE- ABERDARES NATIONAL PARK

Wake up early in the morning for a full breakfast and depart to Aberdares National Park.Arrive at the Aberdares country Club/ Outspan hotel for checking in and lunch.You will be transfered later to the Ark or Treetop hotel for the game drive dinner /overnight

The Aberdare National Park was created in 1950 to protect the forested slopes and moors of the Aberdare Mountains. The park haselephant, lion, rhino, black leopard and beautiful but elusive bongo antelope, and is often part of a bigger safari itinerary that takes in the

The lodges are one of the main attractions of the Aberdares . Both and treetops and The Ark are built above the ground beside floodlit waterholes with salt licks.

Visitors must book in advance and cannot make their own way to the lodges in private vehicles. Instead check-in is at the Aberdare Country club for the Ark and the Outspan Hotel for Treetops, from where guests are bussed to their respective lodges.

Treetops is one of the Kenya's most famous hotels -this is where British Princess Elizabeth was informed that she had become Queen in 1952 on news of her father's death.The Ark, however, offers better game viewing, especially at night. Nocturnal game viewing is taken so seriously round these parts that there is a bell in each room which sounds if an unusual animal turns up at the waterhole. Elephant, buffalo, rhino, leopard and bushbuck are regular visitors.The hotel is reached via a gangway which takes you to the level of the forest top.

Major attractions are: Bamboo forests, tropical rainforest, waterfalls, the catchment of the Thomsonfalls. Altitude is 3232mts above the sea level.The park is very famous for the Bongo antelopes. Dinner /overningt The ARK/ TREETOP


4:ABERDARES NATIONAL PARK -LAKE NAKURU NATIONAL PARK

Wake up for fullbreakfast and drive to the OUTSPAN/ABERDARES COUNTRY CLUB for checking out and depart to Lake Nakuru National park with a stopovers at The Thomsonfalls ,Sabukia Great Riftvalley view point for photos and Tea farm. Thereafter, drive to Flamingoes Hills Camp at Lake Nakuru National park where you will check in and lunch.

Lake Nakuru is one of the Rift valley soda lake at an elevation of 1754 m. above the sea level its lies to the south of Nakuru Town in the Rift valley of Kenya and its protected by lake Nakuru National park which is managed by K.W.S and the park is electric fence to avoid the wildlife and human conflict .The park covers an area of 188 km2 of which the inner circle is covered by the lake which is 40 km2. The lake is aboundance of algae attractors the vast quantity of millions Flamingoes and pelicans that famously line the shore. Other birds also florish in the area as do wathog ,baboons, and other large mammals .

Black and white Rhinos have also been introduced nakuru means "Dust or Dusty place " in the Masai language . The park was established 1961 .major attraction includes :grassland savanna acacia forest ,eurbian candelarbar ,makalia falls ,cliffs eg:baboon cliffs and the vicinity of maountains,other animals includes Rothschild giraffes water /caffer buffaloes ,Thomson gazelles ,leopards cheetah ,lions common Zebras etc.But unfotunatly there is no elephants at all.

Relax till 1600hrs and begin an evening game drive till 1830hrs when you will drive back to the Camp for dinner and overnight Flamingo Hills Camp


5 :DAY LAKE NAKURU NATIONAL PARK-MASAI MARA NATIONAL RESERVE

Wake up early in the morning for a fullbreakfast and depart to Masai Mara National Reserve with a stopover on the way for a short break .arrive at the gate and make a game drive enroute to the lodge for checking in and Lunch..Masai maraa national reserve (also spelled Masai mara known by the local as the mara)is a large game reserve and rich in wildlife in the south western Kenya.which is effectively the northern continuation fot he Serengeti national park in Tanzania.

Its named after the Masai people (the traditional in habitants of the area ) and there description of the area when looked from a far .Mara which is Maa (Masai language ) for sported an apat description for the circle of trees ,scrubs,savanna and cloud shadows that marked the area its famous for its exceptional population of big cats. Of which make the the Big cats exploration &Safaris more easier to sport them in style .Game and annual migration of zebra,Thomson gazelles and willdbeast from the Serengeti every year from july to October a migration so immense that is called the Great migration.

6: DAYS MASAI MARA

Wake up early in the morning for a full breakfast and start the game drive up to lunch hour then back to the lodge /camp for lunch or another option (make a full day game with a picnic lunch visit mara river where you have chance to see the hippos and crocodiles then back to the camp for dinner /overnight/ Mara serena Lodge


7 Day : Serengeti National Park

Wake up at 6.00am for a full breakfast and then depart to Serengeti National Park. Arrive at the gate and begin a game drive - enroute to Serengeti Serena Lodge for checking in and lunch. Relax till 4.00pm and start a game drive up to 6.00pm. Dinner/ overnight at the Serengeti serena lodge / Kirawira Serena tented Camp.


8.Day - Serengeti national park

Wake up at 6.00 for a full breakfast then start a full day game drive with a picnic till 5.00pm. Drive back to the lodge for dinner/ overnight- Serengeti Serena Lodge / Kirawira Serena tented Camp


9 Day Ngorongoro crater

Wake up at 6.00am for a full breakfast and depart to Ngorongoro crater. Arrive at the gate and descend to the crater rim ( floor) with a picnic, lunch. Spend the whole day at the crater rim up to 5.00pm and ascent above the crater and drive to Ngorongoro serena lodge for checking in/dinner and overnight.


10 Day Lake Manyara National park

Wake up at 6.00am for a full breakfast and depart to Lake manyara National park, you will start the game after arriving at the gate till 1.00pm. Drive to L. Manyara Serena Lodge for checking in and lunch. Relax till 4.00pm and then make an evening game drive up to 6.00 pm then drive back for dinner and overnight at Lake Manyara Serena Lodge.


11.DayTARANGIRE NATIONALPARK

Wake up early in the morning for a fullbreakfast and depart to Tarangire national park with a stopover at Mto wa Umbu for red Banana and at the view point for photos.Arrive at the gate and Make a game drive enroute to the Lodge for checking in and lunch.

Relax till 4.00pm and then make an evening game drive up to 6.00 pm then drive back for dinner and overnight at Tarangire Sopa lodge/Elephant tented lodge


12:Day :Tarangire-Arusha.

Wake up early in the morning for a cup of Tea and start an ealy morning game watch for two and half hours .Then drive back to the lodge for the fullbreakfast.Thereafter you will make the last Game drive ,followed by departure to Arusha for checking in and Lunch.

Relax and make a City tour.Spent one overnight at Impala Lodge/Mountain Lodge Arusha


13.Day Arusha-Mombasa.

Wake up in the morning for a fullbreakfast and depart to Taveta Border for Pass and Visa control and procced to Voi town for lunch .then drive to Mombasa for your Beach Holiday Resort.Arrive ealy evening.Enjoy the rest of your fantastic Holidays at he sand Beach.End
